Dr. Todd Shatkin - Amherst, NY

After earning his DDS at the University of the Pacific, Dr. Todd Shatkin went on to become a pioneer in the field of mini dental implants, including patenting the FIRST technique. The president emeritus of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, he continues to serve patients in Buffalo, New York, through the Aesthetic Associates Centre. Dr. Todd Shatkin also provides consulting and dental laboratory services through Shatkin FIRST, LLC, which he founded in 2007.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shatkin has published extensively on the topic of mini dental implants. His publications include titles such as Mini Dental Implants for the General Dentist; How to Profit from Implants; and A Simplified Approach to Implant Dentistry with Mini Dental Implants. He also frequently attends industry conventions and gives lectures on topics related to mini implant dentistry.

Dr. Shatkin is a member of several organizations, including the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International College of Oral Implantologists. Outside of his professional life, he belongs to Temple Beth Zion and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
